GPS & GNSS Antennas

A GPS (Global Positioning System) or GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System) antenna is a specialised device designed to receive signals from satellites orbiting the Earth. These allow precision navigation by capturing signals from multiple satellites and triangulating the receiver's exact position on the Earth's surface. This enables users to determine their geographic coordinates, velocity, and time information with remarkable accuracy.

GPS/GNSS antennas are essential across numerous industries used in route planning, vehicle tracking, precision farming, surveying, telecommunications, and emergency services. GPS and GNSS antennas commonly come in a few types such as patch antennas, helical antennas or microstrip antennas. Other specialised antenna types include geodetic antennas and choke ring antennas used for high precision surveying purposes. GNSS antennas can also come in the form of combination or combo antennas, these antennas will include other elements capable of receiving non-GNSS bands such as LTE and WiFi.
