Rubber Duck antenna, half-wave, with SMA connector, (1.75-1.85 GHz)

These halfwave antennas require no ground plane for operation. This makes the antenna ideal for use with hand held products or products with no substantial groundplane. It ccan even be used with devices containing all plastic chassis or case. With up to 3 dBi gain, the antenna also compensates for typical system losses that occur at these higher frequencies. For extra wide band system, these antennas can be optimized for either transmit or receive areas.

The smallest termination on these antennas is a low aspect SMA connector(male). Opther options include a TNC, or special connectors. Reverse polarity SMA connectors are avaliable for ISM applications requiring FCC type acceptance. For direct circuit board soldering the antennas can be provided with a pigtail. This styple antenna can easilly be secured to a bulkhead or pannel with a strain relife clamp.
