Mobile Mark’s CLTM402 Series Ceiling Mount antenna contains threeseparate antennas, all in one compact antenna housing: two GlobalLTE/Cellular antennas and one 2.4/5 GHz dual-band WiFi antenna.
The CLTM402 differes from the CLTM401 in that it covers all LTEsystems worldwide from 694-3700 MHz.LTE MIMO (multiple-input-multiple-output) modems offer greaterspeed and capacity than earlier generations of modems.
They achieve this by sending RF signals on multiple antenna elements to maximizethe amount of information transmitted and received, but in order toensure optimum performance the systems need multiple antennas onboth the transmission and receive ends.
This 3-element CLTM antenna is designed for DAS & In-Building sys-tems that combine a single element (non-MIMO) WiFi modem witha 2-element LTE MIMO modem. For systems that require MIMO onWifi as well as LTE, the 4-cable CLTM502 is recommended.Measuring 5.5” (140mm) in diameter with a low profile of 2.38”(60.4mm), CLTM series antennas take up significantly less spacethan multiple antennas.
The antenna is secured to the ceiling with amounting clamp that fastened the antenna to the metal grid holdingthe ceiling tiles.
