HELIX BASED TRIPLE-FREQUENCY ANTENNA FOR UAV APPLICATIONS 

The Trimble AV17 antenna is a helix based triple-frequency L-band antenna. This antenna is ideal for UAV applications due to its lightweight, small form factor and low power consumption design. 

The Trimble AV17 offers support for GPS L1/L2/L5, GLONASS L1/L2/L5, Galileo E1/E5a/E5b, IRNSS L5, QZSS L6 and BeiDou B1/ B2/B2a as well as Trimble RTX and OmniSTAR correction services via L-Band.  

Trimble AV17 features a precision tuned, helix element. It offers excellent axial ratio and does not require a ground plane for optimal performance. In addition, the antenna has an integrated low-loss pre-filter to increase the antennas immunity to high amplitude interference signals from LTE and other cellular signals. The antenna also has an integrated SMA connector for easy screw-on mounting as well as an O-ring to comply with IP67 standards.
